happiness is...

happiness is getting a promissory note back in the mail, signifying that i've finished paying off a loan and will no longer be on that bank's short leash...

it was only a $5,000 loan but it's five grand less that i have to worry about...

now if only i could check that "win the lottery" item off my list of things to do, i'd have the other $175,000 paid off too...

Congratulations, that would certainly make my day. As to the other 175,000... such a measly amount?! It'll be gone in no time!

I have wittled my debt down substantially. It takes self control and accountability.

Good girl.

I hope you're kidding about the $175K. I thought my $15K was bad. :O)

Nice work Jazz. My sister just finished paying back the LAST of her loans last month (she was able to do it about 9 years early!). Keep at it!

Mega Millions is up to $265 million on Tuesday night...

I don't have any student loans of my own to pay, but I did inherit my wife's when we got married. Paying off someone else's loans isn't that fun either.
