i hope all those republican assholes talking about how innocent mark foley is and how the democrats are just starting another smear campaign feel like idiots.
asking a sixteen year old how he masturbates is inappropriate, no matter which way you look at it.
and that boy was forwarding e-mails to foley staffers saying he was freaked out and that foley was making him uncomfortable and they did NOTHING. It's absolutely sick. what a bunch of hypocritical losers.
i'm sorry people. this is disgusting.

Don't generalize! I'm republican/conservative, and I in no way condone or agree with how the republican party handled/is handling this situation. To make a blanket statement like "all those republican assholes talking about how innocent mark foley is" is unfair to those of us that think what he did was abhor’able. He is a disgusting maggot and will pay for what he did. Whether he's a Republican or a Democrat, it matters not. Doesn't change the fact that he's a sick fuck that needs help. The fact that it's even being talked about in this manner is proof that someone wants this politicized. Mission accomplished, wouldn’t you say? We’re talking about it, aren’t we?
Think back to the whole Clinton/Lewinsky debacle. Would you think it fair of me to say something to the effect of, "all those philandering, fellating, adulterous democrats support what Clinton did with Monica and all of them are like him". Something tells me you’d be offended by that, no?

no matter the party, i do think that government tends to be an 'old boys club' whose members often looks the other way when one of their own is caught doing something less than upstanding. however, i must say that there WERE people who said that about all democrats during clinton's indiscretion, when he was absolutely reamed for what he did as foley is right now. it should be no other way when people entrusted with the responsibility and dollars to take care of the country are wasting our time doing things that make us question their decision-making capabilities.
i meant that it should be no other way about holding people accountable, not generalizing based on parties.
